Tina's Special Day!

I'm so excited to share with you some photos from my friend Tina's bridal shower at Be Beauty Boutique (I wrote about it last week here and you can see what I wore here). The bridesmaids found the perfect little place to host the shower and they did such a cute job decorating.

I loved all the little details and all of us gals had the best time giggling, sipping bubbly, and munching on yummy goodies. Here are a few photos from Tina's special day.

Dreaming of Spring

Lately, I've been thinking about spring and summer and I am looking forward to warmer weather and brightly colored dresses (I know Southern Cali doesn't get all that cold but it still...).

I guess there's nothing I can do but wait patiently. In the meantime, I will start pulling out and wearing my brightly colored dresses. This one especially reminds me of spring. And lemons.

I don't have much to say but here are some photos from yesterday. My cousin and I needed an afternoon pick me up so we went to a yummy dessert place.

Turning "Black" Dress

Eek! I love this dress. I think my favorite part is the little white collar. I don't own a lot of black dresses (maybe like 2) because I always gravitate towards color and fun prints. 

But after putting on this dress, it made me realize that maybe I do need more black clothes. This way, I can mix and match all my fun colored tights, shoes and accessories.

Maybe I should get me some black shoes too, while I'm at it. I just have a hard time choosing color over black! Do you have this problem? Or do you buy more black clothes and shoes and accessorize with color?

A Sweet Night

I'm lucky to have awesome co-workers- it makes work so much more fun! We try to get together every couple of weeks outside of work for happy hour and drinks but this time we did something a little different. We had a dessert night at my place! I baked a few different desserts and we had yummy drinks like moscoto, bellini, and basil lemonade. One of my co-workers made some really pretty jello shots while another even made alcohol infused pudding! I had so much fun eating and talking that I forgot to take photos but here are a few that I did manage to snap before I went on my sugar high. Macarons from Lette

Needless to say, it was a sweet night and I hope we can do this more often!

President's Honor

In honor of President's Day, I thought I would put together an outfit of red, white and blue. But in a super fun way of course!

I bought this awesome dress from Be Beauty Boutique when I was there for a bridal shower. Did I mention what a cute place it is? Pretty clothes, girly services (mani/pedi's, facials, make-up application), and really friendly service. What more can a girl ask for?

After filling up on yummy goodies like chocolate covered almonds, cupcakes, cheeses, and bubbly champagne, we gals browsed through the store and ended up purchasing cute dresses, belts, and more (my good friend and I actually purchased this same dress)! What can be better than ending the bridal shower but all leaving with pretty new things? Love!
