Growing up, I was never really girly. In fact, I was a tomboy. I didn't like to wear dresses, I hated the color pink, and my mom was constantly fishing my barbie dolls out of the trash. Maybe it was because I was the only girl and had 2 older brothers. Instead of being into clothes and make-up, I spent my days outside riding my bike and learning to skateboard.
Fast forward to many, many years later and I am now a girly girl. Take this outfit for instance- it's as girly as I can be! While I do try to stay away from too much ruffles and frills, I love wearing dresses, painting my nails, and wearing heels. The only thing that hasn't changed is that I still always want to wear my hair in a ponytail. Like, all the time.

I *love* this outfit. That's so awesome you made that beautiful skirt; I'm really digging the butterfly print! I've never been a tomboy, but I only recently started wearing skirts and dresses instead of jeans and t-shirts all the time.
Me too!! I hated any color when I was younger and just stuck to plain black and navy. But now I'm very adventurous when it comes to adding different colors to my outfits.
But more than I hated color, I hated white for some reason. But now I'm all for all shades of white and cream. So obviously, I'm in love with your outfit! That teal belt is perfect!
