Foto Friday

Friday already? Hooray for short work weeks! 

I've gotten into the habit of taking my camera everywhere with me and lately, I've been carrying my Canon AE-1 film camera around (read previous post here). Here are some photos I really like from happy hour at Aburiya Toranoko in Little Tokyo, Los Angeles. I love the grainy texture of the photos and even though the pictures aren't totally in focus, I kinda like how they turned out.

Do you use a film camera? Or do you prefer using a digital camera? I must admit, it's a lot easier for me to learn photography skills using a digital camera because I can take a bunch of photos and get instant feedback....but I really love film too.

    Love these photos, especially the first one! I use digital, but am definitely intrigued by film....

    You should give it a try Kristin! It's fun getting the film developed and seeing what you captured.

    i really love the last photo with the couple. it looks timeless.

    as for film, you know how much i love it. but it does get expensive! eep. :)

    oh yes, super expensive! I have to remind myself to slow down and not go crazy taking photos :)

    I stick to digital cameras now and now that I think about it, I haven't used a film camera for almost 6 years! And I think these photos turned out really well!
